SHOW NOTES:
Prayer is a comprehensive part of the Jewish day. We pray for amaterial, spiritual, physical, and health matters, we pray for the community, for individuals, we pray for our families and ourselves. In this podcast we address a fundamental philosophical problem with prayer: If someone is sick we pray for them. Who made them sick? The Almighty! If someone is going to die, who is overseeing this? God! Who are we to try to intervene? In our attempt to unravel this knotty question we explore the nexus of man’s free will confronting the dominion of the Omnipotent God.
